## About the Program

Amwell Medical Group offers urgent care services, staffed by board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners specializing in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Our dedicated team is available nationwide, 24/7, 365 days a year. Our providers hold single-state and multi-state licenses and are credentialed to handle referrals from clients across the country.

### What to Expect

- The platform is live 24/7/365, allowing you to see patients on demand at times that work best for you.
- AMG patients are referred from our hospital, health system, and health plan partners.
- Most visit last between 7-10 minutes
- Patients typically present with acute issues that do not require a trip to the emergency room

#### Common conditions and patient situations:

- Influenza
- Upper respiratory Infection
- Rashes
- Conjunctivitis
- UTI
- Sinusitis
- Seasonal allergies
- Triage
- Prescription refills
- Cough

Your Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 active state license
- Current board certification in internal, family, emergency, or pediatric medicine
- Minimum 1-year post-residency experience
- Active, unrestricted DEA license

## Ways to Practice with Amwell

There are three separate roles with AMG for urgent care providers:

### Urgent Care Associate

- Our most common and flexible position opening
- Independent contractor role
- Work when you want, no time requirement

### Urgent Care Partner

- Independent contract role
- Additional licensure, managed and paid for by AMG’s internal Licensing team
- Set schedule of hours per week
- Increased rate for scheduled hours

### Urgent Care Staff

- Full-time, salaried role
- Additional licensure, managed and paid for by AMG’s internal Licensing team
- Health insurance and benefits
- Full CME management by internal Licensing team
